Conferences on the horizon

There is a continuous flow of conferences, so to say, probably even too many touching the field of CIS in some ways. A personal selection of the upcomings:

• The annual RSS has just ended with workshops and special sessions on surgical robotics
  
• CASE is approaching soon with more control in CIS
• At the end of summer: the good old EMBC welcomes everyone
• We have just passed the deadline for the 1st ICABB
• Next, there is the 13th ISRACAS in Herzlia, Israel
  
• Go to Sweden for the 2nd European Symposium on Robotic Gynecological Surgery
  
• Followed by the partially CIS-oriented IROS
• And Miami Robotics Symposium in October
• In the mean while, there is the European Robotic Urulogy Symposium in Bordeaux
• A seminar for everyone on the "State of the Art in Robotic Surgery"
  

• New year, new MMVR in CA
  
• Next May, we may all go to ICRA in magnificent Shanghai
  
• But Athens also welcomes surgical robotists for the MIRA2011
• Looking well ahead, you can aim at the ICAR2011 in Tallinn
• Or, if you prefer warmer climate, check the 1st Middle East Conf. on BME
