AiM Medical Robotics
AiM Medical Robotics is a Massachusetts-based pre-clinical neurosurgical robotics company that is working to bring high levels of precision, automation, and efficiency, to the complex environment of neurosurgery. We are developing a portable MRI-compatible surgical robot that can account for brain shift and enable real-time monitoring. It can be used for use in an MRI suite or a traditional operating room setting. AiM’s technology is based on 15 years and ~$15M of NIH supported research by the company’s founders.

The V01 robot has been developed to make minimally invasive surgery better. Boasting 21 degrees of freedom, the V01 is designed to improve operative perception, dexterity, and precision.

Galen Robotics
Galen Robotics is the pioneer of Digital-Surgery-as-a-Service (DSaaS). Galen will provide advanced surgical assistance in performing delicate or intricate procedures by combining the power of a new microsurgery platform with big data analytics. Galen Robotics was founded in 2016, bringing together Silicon Valley and the early work and research in surgical robotics at Johns Hopkins University. Galen Robotics is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland.

Founded in 2019, ROPCA drives automation for better patient care. ROPCA’s has developed a fully automated ultrasound scanning system with artificial intelligence performing disease activity scoring in Rheumatoid Arthritis. The system can be bought by hospitals worldwide. ROPCA greatly increases the availability of disease assessments to improve the lives of patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Sentante
Sentante has developed the first fully-robotic teleoperated system for endovascular interventions. A smart, sensory, teleoperated robot system which allows the procedure to be performed remotely, from a different room, thus protecting physicians from harmful X-rays and opening up tele-surgery possibilities.
