"MicroPort MedBot’s Toumai Remote surgical robot secured the EU CE Mark, the first such approval for remote surgery robots. The CE Mark opens over 30 European markets and reinforces Toumai’s lead in global remote robotic surgeries across specialties.

Shanghai MicroPort MedBot announced that its self-developed Full-department Application of Toumai Laparoscopic Surgery Robot for Remote Surgery, known as Toumai Remote, has obtained the EU CE Mark, becoming the first remote surgical robot to receive this certification. The system, already approved in nearly 20 countries and regions, enables remote laparoscopic procedures across multiple specialties, reinforcing the company’s technological leadership in high-end medical equipment."
