International Society for Medical Robotics -- ISMR

Backed by some great Polish and regional surgical-medical robotic teams, the ISMR is open for additional members:

"You are cordially invited to join the International Association for Medical Robotics / International Society for Medical Robotics ISMR. Currently we are the Witnesses of the expansion of medical robotics into medicine areas. Unlike industrial robots, medical robots operate directly in the human being environment of and on behalf of Him. It's a fascinating area of research and often create a need to introduce a completely new design and technological solutions. Robots are a chance to introduce new standards of service and medical care,  and are the only solution to problems related to general support of the old or disable patients in the future. It depends on us how fast will the development of this important field, and how accurate will the decisions related to it. Feel free to work actively in the Association! The Association is a voluntary, self-governing, a permanent association of science and technology, bringing together members whose professional activities or interests related to the medical robotics.
