Number of the day - 1: First RA knee arthroplasty in Hungary
"Robot-assisted knee arthroplasty was performed for the first time in Hungary at Semmelweis University, dr. Led by Zoltán Bejek, associate professor of the Orthopedic Clinic. The university's robotic surgery clinics also organized an open day related to surgery in the lecture hall of the Oenterology Clinic of the Surgery, Transplantation and Gastroenterology Clinic, where they presented the three fields, surgery, urology and gynecology, where robotic technology is already successfully used. In the framework of a workshop, it was possible to try 3D knee and hip design at various workstations, and the participants could also test the CORI robot suitable for performing orthopedic surgery."
