3rd Annual Image-Guided Therapy Workshop
Sponsored by the National Center for Image-Guided Therapy (NCIGT) and the National Institute of Health (NIH), an IGT workshop was held in Arlington, in March, focusing on Multimodal Imaging in the Operating Room. The goal was to learn about state of the art and future trends in operating suites that use more than one imaging modality, and to serve more than one clinical specialty. The program included several renown speakers, and the good news is that some of the presentations and posters are available on the workshop's website:
- D. Jaffray: Experience and Innovation in Image-Guided Therapy
- B. Butler: Multi-Parametric Visualization in Image-Guided Surgery and Radiation Therapy
- L. Wang: Photoacoustic Imaging in Image-Guided Therapy
- A. Pacifico: TATRC Programs in Image-Guided Therapy
- J.V. Frangioi: Image-Guided Surgery using Invisible Near-Infrared Fluorescent Light
- C. Ménard et al.: Online Guidance of Tumor Targeted Prostate Brachytherapy using Histologically Referenced MRI
- R. Halter et al.: Electrical Property Based Image-Guided Prostate Biopsy
- J. Tokuda et al.: Standardized Network Communication for MRI-guided Robotic Prostate Interventions
- E. Brodsky et al.: Interventional Device Tracking and Imaging Using RTHawk, an Extensible Real-Time System
- M. Balda et al.: Image Guided Therapy Applications Using Time-Of-Flight Camera Data
