IBIS robot from Japan

The IBIS system has been developing at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, for a while. "It uses many off-the shelf devices to perform much of the functionality of the considerably more expensive da Vinci. Moreover, it has force-feedback features allowing the user to feel when the robot’s tools come in contact with tissue or other objects." It has pneumatic force sensing (as we reported before).
Everyone is talking about the price of the robot, yet we should first see the replicability of the technology, and the scalability of their market approach (if they have).
