Brand new design for Titan's robot--SPORT


Titan Medical got ready with the next generation of the Amadeus, named Single Port Orifice Robotic Technology (SPORT) Surgical System. In the past months, they re-designed the whole system, the business model and the timeline. They tested 12 instruments (chosen from 150 concepts), 30 prototypes tested with over 240 hours field research and 60 hours of surgeon interviews. The code runs now over 16,000+ lines. The Full HD 3D camera was born after 75 concepts, 15 prototypes and 40 hours of field research.
SPORT is believed to be ready for the US market by H2 2015, on a base price of $600K, as you can learn from the most recent company presentation.
