The AQrate Robotic Assistance System is indicated for precise
positioning of surgical instruments and spinal implants during general
spinal surgery. It may be used in open, minimally invasive or
percutaneous procedures with or without assistance of a navigation
system.
The AQrate Robotic Assistance System provides to the surgeon a tool
that is positioned in space by the robotic arm. It provides user
interfaces allowing a surgeon to interact with the robotic system
directly from a sterile field. The tool holder integrates sensors which
can measure forces and torques applied by the surgeon thus enabling to
precisely guide surgical instruments.
